Our carpenters use a variety of time-tested joinery methods to craft each teak foot stool with a solid teak frame built for lasting durability.

The visible joinery adds beauty, provides strength, and helps us minimize the use of metal fasteners.

HANDWOVEN NATURAL RATTAN

We hand weave the seat using the distinctive square webbing pattern, with rattan woven directly through holes drilled into each teak frame, completing this artisanal woven foot stool.

This adds a lightness and transparency, both literally and visually, as well as ergonomic comfort.
