The Capitol Bench is an aesthetic tribute to the Chandigarh Library Bench, reimagined as a modern pierre jeanneret bench. As part of the Capitol Collection, it embodies our approach at TreeHause to create for the future while respecting the past.
Crafted from locally sourced solid teak, this solid wood bench indoor is stained to perfection without harsh chemicals. Each cane seat and backrest is handwoven from natural rattan, slightly tilted and gently curved for comfort.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and uses all natural teak and rattan cane which may come with slight "imperfections" and variations in color and staining. We do our best to maintain consistency in production and choose quality natural materials. Variations will never hinder the overall aesthetics or intended use. These characteristics are part of the charm and story behind these unique works of art. making each a distinctive wood bench living room centerpiece.
