STORY

Petrified wood is a natural material that tells a geological story dating back thousands of years. An ancient tree was transformed into solid quartz, leaving behind a fossilized record of its wood grain and petrified wood bark. We've sliced and shaped a fragment of this petrified stone into a striking serving board with a polished surface and a natural edge.

Whether scattered with cheeses, charcuterie, or used to display your favorite items, this piece doubles beautifully as round wood tray decor or even as a wood slab cake stand and its historic past and contemporary sculptural shape are sure to spark conversation at your next gathering.

Due to the nature of the material, each petrified wood slab tray will be unique. At TreeHause, we do our best to sort the items by color so you can choose your ideal aesthetic. Whether styled as a wood slice centerpiece, used as wood slice decor, or admired for its organic form as a natural edge wood slab, each piece brings timeless character and one-of-a-kind beauty to your home
