STORY
Defined by its iconic floating back, the Capitol Arm pierre jeanneret counter stool is an aesthetic tribute to the Chandigarh Office Chair, reimagined as a counter stool. The angular construction mirrors the arms of a compass, and its captivating silhouette is a mastery of proportion and midcentury modern design. As part of the Capitol Collection, this stool embodies our approach at TreeHause to create for the future while respecting the past.
Our counter stool with back and arms is crafted from locally sourced solid teak, handcrafted and stained to perfection without harsh chemicals. Each natural cane seat and chair back are finished with handwoven rattan, slightly tilted and gently curved for ideal comfort.
Each mid century counter height stool is one-of-a-kind, crafted from natural teak and rattan cane, which may display slight "imperfections" and variations in color and staining. We strive to maintain consistency in production and select high-quality natural materials. These variations will never hinder the overall aesthetics or intended use, but rather add to the charm and story behind these unique works of art.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
This product ships through standard mail. Once an order is placed, the product is shipped from our warehouse within 5 business days and will arrive within 2-5 business days after it is shipped.

Our carpenters use a variety of time-tested joinery methods to craft each of our teak counter height stools with a solid teak frame built for lasting durability.
The visible joinery adds beauty, provides strength, and helps us minimize the use of metal fasteners.
OVER 400 FEET OF NATURAL RATTAN
Each wood and rattan counter stool features a handwoven seat and backrest in the distinctive square cane webbing pattern, with rattan woven directly through holes in the solid teak frame.
This adds a lightness and transparency, both literally and visually, as well as ergonomic comfort.
USE A CUSHION FOR ADDED COMFORT
For additional comfort and to protect the natural rattan, we recommend a cushion for daily use.
