STORY
Defined by its iconic floating back, the Capitol Arm Counter stool is an aesthetic tribute to Chandigarh Office Chair reimagined as a counter stool. The angular construction mirrors the arms of a compass, and its captivating silhouette is a mastery of proportion and midcentury modern design. As part of the Capitol Collection, this stool embodies our approach at TreeHause to create for the future, while respecting the past.
Our locally sourced solid wood teak is handcrafted and stained to perfection without any harsh chemicals. Each natural cane seat and chair back are finished with handwoven natural rattan cane, slightly tilted and gently curved ideal for comfort.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and uses all natural teak and rattan cane which may come with slight "imperfections" and variations in color and staining. We do our best to maintain consistency in production and choose quality natural materials. Variations will never hinder the overall aesthetics or intended use. These characteristics are part of the charm and story behind these unique works of art.

Sourced from community managed forest in Indonesia.
This product ships through standard mail. Once an order is placed, the product is shipped from our warehouse within 5 business days and will arrive within 2-5 business days after it is shipped.
Pre-order items are not yet in our warehouse and the date presented is an estimate only.
We hand weave the seat and backrest using the distinctive square webbing pattern. The rattan is woven directly through holes drilled into each teak frame.
This adds a lightness and transparency, both literally and visually, as well as ergonomic comfort.
USE A CUSHION FOR ADDED COMFORT
For additional comfort and to protect the natural rattan, we recommend a cushion for daily use.

We label each piece with a brass plaque symbolizing the tree it comes from, the hands that craft it, and the story to continue with you.
